Polituff

I remember when my father would put captions on each of the photos of our photo albums. He put “jack of all trades” on one of my photos. I don’t know how he came up with that. Perhaps he envisioned me to be able to do many things even without learning it from textbooks or anywhere.

After some time, I realized that, yes, I can do many things but not being a handyman around the house. I don’t even know what “masilya” is.

Recently I asked a carpenter what are the things to buy for masilya process and he said “pulitap”. I asked another person and said the same thing in that same pronunciation. I asked for the spelling but they can’t spell it to me. To my frustration, even Google couldn’t find “pulitap”. I tried variations like pullitap, pullitop, pulli tough, folly top, fullitop and many others but to no luck I couldn’t find the right result and I still couldn’t comprehend what is it and what it looks like.

Finally I went to a hardware without knowing what I am really purchasing. I was given “polituff”.
